At Everlasting Luck LTD, we believe that everyone deserves a fair shot – no matter their financial situation. That’s why every single competition we run includes a no-purchase-necessary Free Entry route. Whether you’re entering online or by post, every entry is treated equally – and that’s not just our policy, it’s the law.

This page sets out exactly how to enter our competitions for free, how we calculate your entries using postage, and how we make sure free entries are treated the same as paid ones – just like Schedule 2, Paragraph 8(1)(d) of the UK Gambling Act 2005 requires:

“The system for allocating prizes does not differentiate between those who participate by paying and those who participate by sending a communication.”

1. Who Can Enter? 🎯

Open to UK residents aged 18 or over
Free entries follow the same rules and restrictions as paid entries
By submitting a free entry, you agree to our main Terms & Conditions and this Free Entry Policy

2. How to Enter for Free 💌

You can enter any Everlasting Luck competition by post – here’s how:

1️⃣ Write your details clearly on a postcard or inside a sealed envelope. Include:

Full Name (must match ID if you win)
Postal Address
Email Address
Phone Number (optional but helpful)
The Competition Name (e.g. “Win £10,000”)
Your answer to the competition question (if one is required)

2️⃣ Post it to:

3️⃣ One entry per envelope or postcard. If you want to enter more than once, send multiple envelopes. We don’t accept bulk entries in one envelope.

4️⃣ Make sure your entry arrives before the closing date – we can’t accept late entries, even if they were posted on time.

3. How We Calculate Your Entries Using Postage 💸

Here’s where we go above and beyond:

We count your stamp cost as entry credit.

📮 Example:

Ticket price = 15p
You send a Second Class stamped envelope (85p)
That gives you 5 entries for that competition (5 x 15p = 75p)

✅ If the ticket price is more expensive than the stamp, we’ll just give you 1 entry (e.g. a £1.50 ticket = 1 entry per envelope)
✅ If the ticket price is lower, we’ll give you as many entries as your postage covers, rounded down
✅ The max entries you can submit is always the same as the online entry limit shown on the competition page
✅ This approach means you can enter as many times for free as someone who pays online

And just to be crystal clear – the cost of a normal first- or second-class stamp is not considered a payment to enter under UK law.

4. What Happens Next 🏆

We process your entry just like a paid one
You’ll get a confirmation email within 5 working days
If you’ve got an Everlasting Luck account, we’ll add your free tickets there
Your free entries are assigned random ticket numbers, just like paid entries
You’ll be included in all parts of the competition – main draws, instant wins, bonus rounds – everything
And if you win, there’s nothing to pay – prize fulfilment is 100% free

5. FAQs ❓

Q: Can I send in more than one free entry?
Yes! Just send each one in a separate envelope. If a competition has a 20-entry limit per person, you can send up to 20 postcards – no problem.

Q: Do free entries have the same chance of winning?
Absolutely. UK law says the system can’t treat free entries any differently, and we follow that to the letter.

Q: How will I know if my entry’s been accepted?
We’ll email you within 5 working days to confirm. If you’ve got an account, you’ll see the entries appear in your dashboard too.

Q: What happens if my entry arrives late or is missing info?
Unfortunately, we can’t process late or incomplete entries – so double check you’ve included everything and send it early.

Q: If I win with a free entry, will I have to pay anything?
Nope. We’ll contact you and deliver your prize for free – no catches, no fees, no handling charges.

7. A Few Extra Notes 🛑

All entries – free or paid – count toward the max entry limit on each competition
Proof of postage isn’t proof of entry – your letter needs to arrive in time
We recommend First Class post or sending early
We can’t accept hand deliveries or couriers – entries must come through the Royal Mail
Free entries are logged, validated, and drawn exactly the same way as any paid ticket
No-one can win more than one major prize in the same competition – doesn’t matter how they entered

We operate this policy in full compliance with the UK Gambling Act 2005, and especially:

Here’s how we comply:

No payment is required to enter – only a normal stamp
The free entry route is clearly promoted on every competition
Free entries are treated identically to paid entries
